The funds for construction of hall were sanctioned from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to code of conduct of elections and other reasons, but the work was taken up as soon as the process got cleared. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 5.28 lakhs.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the hall once constructed can be used by the locals for many things. He said that earlier there was no proper accommodation for performing Ram Leela in the Ward but after the construction of hall, many things will be sorted out and there will be a proper place for performing such things which hold religious importance in our culture. He stated that besides that the locals can also use the same for performing other functions as well including small get together, meetings and that too at a very nominal price which can be afforded by everyone. He also stated that many times there is no availability of places for performing rituals such as Rasam Pagri or Uthala which are considered to be an important aspect in Hindu culture, this hall will also cater to the needs of those as well, he added.
